Buddha did not teach you to imagine your challenges out of existence. He just instructed us not to add to it through recrimination. Those things in your life you perceive as bringing you down from a spiritual high are those things you need to embrace and overcome through practice, patience, perseverance. These are all qualities a person on the spiritual path must learn to cultivate. Developing the ability to endure hardships by developing patience and acceptance in the face of adversity is key to spiritual enlightenment. Otherwise you’re left with a fake spiritual persona to deal with. Embrace suffering as a means. Not a roadblock.

Belief is good … and you’ve just summarized why manifestation centered upon ‘me’ is not just insufficient, it’s actually harmful to me x many, many people. Well said!
